Under the “Godparent Programme”, you can cover the costs of the Hungarian language education of a child studying at Bethlen Gábor College in Aiud. The programme goes beyond financial support and offers the opportunity to establish a personal contact. Through correspondence, your hoped-for visit to Aiud, the “godparent relationship” will give you an insight into the life of the Hungarian community in Transylvania, friendships can be formed, and you can follow the development of your adopted godchild and the life of Bethlen College. You can also host your sponsored student during the holidays. If a personal contact with the Bethlen student is not required, we recommend you to participate in one of our other support programmes.
