The Foundation operates within the walls of the college founded by the Prince’s family.
The College’s past is marked by names such as Apáczai Csere János, Pápai Páriz Ferenc, Kőrösi Csoma Sándor, Barabás Miklós, Dési Huber István, Bolyai Farkas, Count Mikó Imre, Áprily Lajos, Barcsay Jenő, Berde Mária, Sütő András and many other important persons from the history of Hungary.
The Bethlen Gábor College Foundation of Aiud (BGCA) announces the Aracs-Trischler Scholarship for 2020, donated by Aracs János and his wife Aracs Jánosné Trischler, Zsuzsanna who live in Budapest. With this scholarship, the couple intends to support Hungarian education in Transylvania and to commemorate their family’s historic struggles.
The aim of the Foundation is to support the educational work of the Bethlen Gábor College in Aiud, to support talented students and teachers.
Under the “Godparent Programme” you can become a symbolic godparent for a Hungarian child who wishes to study at the College.
