ACTIVITY REPORT – 2025
The Bethlen Gábor Foundation was established in 2000 and has since been supporting the educational and pedagogical activities of the Bethlen Gábor College in Aiud.
The main objectives of the foundation are:
- The “godparent” (sponsorship) program
- Contributing to the costs of boarding students
- Supporting students’ scientific and literary activities
- Supporting cultural and sports events
- Rewarding students with outstanding academic results
- Raising the quality of educational and pedagogical work
- Providing housing support for young teachers
Activities and results of the Foundation in 2025:
- Support for students through scholarships: the Godparent Program, Communitas scholarship, Juhász Mária scholarship, Molnár Árpád award, Berlin scholarship, Dr. Hangody László award, Sepsi Noémi Zsuzsanna award, Simon László award, Bajusz Pál award, Aracs Trischler (Premium) scholarship, scholarships provided by the Saint Stephen Association, the professional scholarship „Path to a Michelin Star”, Student Council award, the “Fordított Patkó” theatre group award, the “Fügevirág” folk dance group award, the “Gyertyaláng” Youth Orchestra award, the school newspaper “Voice of the Students” award, the essay scholarship “Let Us Remember So We May Remain”, awards of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation, etc.
- Management of special awards distributed at graduation ceremonies and at the end of the school year.
- Support for the activities of the Fenichel Sámuel Study Circle, which coordinates the scientific activities of the students of the college.
- Financial support for the “Fügevirág” folk dance group operating in the college.
- Support for the Collegium Gabrielense early music and dance ensemble.
- Financial support for the “Chorus Princeps” choir operating in the college.
- Financial support for the “Fordított Patkó” theatre group operating in the college.
- Financial support for the “Kalamajka” theatre group operating in the college.
- Support for the “Gyertyaláng” Youth Orchestra operating in the college.
- Financial support for the “Őrhegy Aljában” study circle.
- Financial support for the practical activities of students in specialized study programs.
- Organization and support of events: Bethlen Ball, BGK Student Days, Freshmen’s Ball, various activities organized by the Student Council.
- Financial support for publications about the school.
- Coverage of travel expenses for scientific sessions and competitions.
- Support for infrastructural developments of the college.
