CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The Board of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation in Aiud and the Scholarship Committee of the Bethlen Gábor College in Aiud are inviting applications for the Simon László Study Scholarship. The prize is awarded by Simon László Jr., in memory of his father, the late Simon László, who was a teacher of pedagogy at the College. The prize is awarded once a year at the end of the academic year and at the graduation ceremony. From the scholarship fund, which is deposited by the sponsor in the account of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation, one scholarship is awarded at the graduation ceremony and three scholarships are awarded at the end of the academic year.
ELIGIBILE APPLICANTS: The prize is open to students in grades 9-12 in real science classes. One prize per grade will be awarded.
CRITERIA FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE APPLICATION:
- 80% of the academic average for the academic year 2023/24, for grade IX, the result of the college entrance
- 20% of the score obtained from the results of competitions (local, county, regional, national). Only the results of competitions taking place in the academic year 2023/24 will be scored for each grade.
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED:
1. Application form (downloadable from the website)
2. Proof of academic achievements:
– Grade IX: certificate of admission result
– Grades X-XII: transcript of the 2021/22 school year grade point average
3. Proof of competition results (copy of diplomas or certificate issued by the head teacher)
PLACE AND METHOD OF SUBMISSION: On paper, at the office of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation
COMPETITION PERIOD: for grades IX-XI: 3-7 June 2024
for grade XII students : 20-24 May 2024.
