The initiative to provide financial support for operating expenses began in 2022 and has continuously ensured the stability of our foundation’s activities ever since.
Within this program, we also received financial support of 10,000 RON from the Communitas Foundation for the 2025/26 school year, which we use to reduce the foundation’s operating costs.
As a support institution for the college, our activities have diversified over the past few years. From providing financial and professional support to students, maintaining the quality of education in the mother tongue, organizing cultural programs, and cooperating with our partners, to carrying out building modernization – our responsibilities are numerous. To manage these tasks effectively, we have established an office dedicated to the foundation’s administrative activities.
Maintaining the foundation’s headquarters and covering the costs of teacher apartments in its ownership represent a significant financial burden for us. Current expenses include telephone and internet bills, apartment insurance, taxes, office supplies, and utility costs – especially during the heating season. In addition, the heating of the practice kitchen, mainly used by students in the waiter and cook training program, is covered by the foundation, ensuring appropriate conditions for their activities.
Thanks to this annual operating support, we can ease the pressure of these costs and redirect some resources toward participation fees for college events and competitions, as well as direct support for students.
