Bajusz Pál Prize

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

 

The Board of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation and the Scholarship Committee of the Bethlen Gábor College in Aiud are inviting applications for the “Bajusz Pál  Prize” for the academic year 2023/24.

The prize was created by a donation from a 1974 graduate[1]. The prize is presented each year by the widow of Bajusz Pál, if she is able to accept the invitation. The scholarship was awarded for the first time in the academic year 2019/2020, and in the following academic years:

  • RON 1000  at the end of the school year 2019/2020 (RON 500 per student)
  • RON 1000 at the end of the school year 2020/2021 (RON 500 per student)
  • RON 1000 at the end of the school year 2021/2022 (RON 500 per student)
  • RON 1000 at the end of the school year 2022/2023 (RON 500 per student)
  • RON 1000 at the end of the school year 2023/2024 (RON 500 per student)

From the scholarship fund, which is deposited by sponsors at the Bethlen Gábor Foundation’s registered office, 2 scholarships are awarded annually, 1 prize for applicants in Grade XII and 1 prize for applicants in Classes IX-XI.

CRITERIA FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE APPLICATION:

  • performance at an event – 1 point/event
  • attendance at training courses – 5 points (certificate of instructor)
  • other musical/artistic activity – 1 point/activity (with certificate)
  • results of competitions

Scoring method for competition results:

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: Students with outstanding artistic activity. Preference will be given to those with musical talent. The prize is open to students in grades IX-XII at Bethlen Gábor College.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED:

1. Application form

2. Proof of entry (photo)

3. Proof of attendance at a preparatory course

4. Proof of other musical/artistic activities

5. Proof of competition results (diploma or certificate issued by a teacher)

METHOD AND PLACE OF SUBMISSION: On paper, at the office of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation.

THE PERIOD FOR SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION:

For grades IX-XI: 3-7 June 2024.

for grade XII: 20-24 May 2024.
