Dr. Hangody László Scholarship

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Board of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation and the Scholarship Committee of the Bethlen Gábor College in Aiud invite applications for the Dr.  Hangody László Scholarship. The prize is offered by Dr. Hangody László for the amount of EUR 1000, which he has deposited in the account of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation. Prof. Dr. Hangody László, Professor, Doctor of Sciences, Semmelweis University, Department of Traumatology – Head of Department, Péterfy Sándor Hospital, Trauma Centre – Professional Director, Uzsoki Utcai Hospital, Orthopaedic Traumatology Department – Head of Department. His aim is to stimulate interest in science among students. The prize is awarded once a year at the graduation ceremony.

1 scholarship of EUR 250 was awarded from the scholarship fund at graduation, for the first time in 2016, and in 2017, 2018 and 2019. The scholarship will be awarded for 5 more years, continuing with 2020, and then in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, also to one student, on graduation, for a value of EUR 200.

ELIGIBILE APPLICANTS: The prize is open to students in Year 12 from the Real Theory class.

CRITERIA FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE APPLICATION:     

  • The prize is awarded to the 12th-grade student who has achieved the highest grade point average over four years of secondary school in the following subjects: Hungarian Language and Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. In the case of the same overall, the prize is shared.

1. Application form (downloadable from the website)

2. Proof of academic achievement:

-Grade point averages in grades IX to XI academic averages – with a copy of the student check

-Grade point averages in grade XII – With a certificate from the teacher of the subject

PLACE AND METHOD OF SUBMISSION: On paper, at the office of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation.
